We own many boats here at Lost Bridge Marina. Just like yours, over the years the upholstery in our boats begin to show signs of wear. With such a large fleet, upholstery repair will be continual and ongoing. We also need control over when the work can be performed so as to minimize the time the vessel is out of service. These reasons and others prompted us to develop our own “in-house” upholstery service.
We tackled this problem in the winter of 2012-2013 by clearing out our old service building. We added insulation, climate control, put pegboard on the walls, and built a “layout” table. We purchased a sewing machine and other tools needed for the job. We flew our lead upholstery person to multiple classes out of state. These classes specialized in marine upholstery, canvassing and other crafts required to serve our upholstery needs. The weeks of classes and the effort put into this new facility have resulted in outstanding upholstery work now being performed. Some of our work is pictured below.
We are so pleased with the quality of our work we are now offering this as a service to you. If you have wear beginning to show on the upholstery of your boat or that bimini or canvas cover is starting to look a little ragged, please contact us. We will be happy to discuss your needs and estimate your cost for it.
